Gas Storage Offloading Terminal and Tank Farm in Barcelona Harbor, Spain

The gas storage offloading terminal and tank farm in Barcelona Harbor, Spain is owned by Enagas (Spain) and engineered by Helios Group (Spain). At the terminal, methane gas is received in large gas tanks from Algeria and offloaded at Barcelona Terminal and then distributed to most of eastern Spain.

The fire and gas contractor for the project, Notifier (Spain), selected 118 SharpEye ( IR3 ) Triple IR Flame Detectors to protect the gas storage tanks and gas transmission pipes.

All IR3 Detectors are connected via addressable modules to the Notifier AM 2020 intelligent, addressable fire alarm control panel which can individually identify and control each IR3 SharpEye Flame Detector.

ENICHEM Ravenna Railway Loading Platform, Italy

SafEye Open Path IR (OPIR) Gas Detection Systems are installed in ENICHEM Chemical Plant that processes Butadiene-Butane in Ravenna (Italy). The systems are protecting the railway loading platforms.

Tanker Loading Station

Fuel and gas filling stations are protected by Spectrex flame and gas monitoring systems located in selected areas of the loading bays. Typically 4 SharpEye Flame Detectors located in four corners above each loading bay cover the area where the loading trucks hook to the filling pumps.
